P H O T O   P O L I C Y :

Due to the volume of unlawful video, photo and trademark reproductions taking place with respect to participants, events and trade names recently, it has become necessary for Seekonk Speedway to strictly enforce certain rules and guidelines with respect to the usage and sale and digital distribution of such media. While we certainly understand that this can be upsetting to the casual weekend photographer, it is important to understand the legal ramifications that exist. Seekonk Speedway does not intend to prohibit the use of still point and shoot cameras at the race track; however, the sale of such photos is strictly prohibited without prior written approval of Seekonk Speedway or any other sanctioning body depending upon the event.
Any actions taken by the Speedway are being necessitated by several instances of blatant abuse discovered by Seekonk Speedway over the course of the last several weeks. The Management of Seekonk Speedway understands the concerns that have been raised and appreciates your understanding while we manage this issue going forward.
